Enrollments made using a Walmart.com or Walmart Business account can be edited under the Account tab while logged-in.

I am tax-exempt, why was I charged taxes on my purchase?

There are a couple of reasons why you might see taxes on your purchase.

- Only certain items are tax-exempt, and items may be limited based on the type of exemption you are approved for.

- Some states limit tax-exemption status within that state. If you ship to or shop in a Walmart that is not in the boundaries of your exemption, tax-exemption will not apply to that purchase. Multi-state enrollments are permissible, and the license for each state is required during the enrollment process.

Is there a limit to how many items I can purchase tax-exempt?

- When using Walmart Pay at self-checkout, there is no limitation to how many items you can purchase tax-exempt.

- When checking out through an associate’s lane, there is a limit. Please check with the associate first if you have a large quantity purchase.
